the skirt is with the whole body...the only ones that are separated are hair and cape...about the rig...hair and skirt bones is not separated from the main rig...
So, I am wondering: Can you do something like this just as easily in Autodesk's Maya? Or should I download Blender and just use both for various reasons?
Every time I see some sort of anime tutorial, it's always done in Blender, and so I am wondering if Maya is unable to do something like designing 3D anime.
...i guess its not in the software...before i watch modelling tutorials for maya but i use 3ds max...as long as you know how to use the software its ok...my reason for using blender is because its free and fast on slow computer...
How would you go about doing long hair? I've been doing the same type of simulation for awhile, but the simulation keeps screwing up on me and phasing through the character's body.
o...i forgot to put...green bones are for animation controls, the black and yellow are for deform, and red bones are for hair/skirt...i color them so when im animating...im only moving the green bones...haha
