hi I was wandering if you have any tutorials on how to model like this or help on where i can learn how to do this i am a environment and props modeler just want to get in to this style of charter model just don't know where to begin would be big help
That's awesome work for low-poly! I see you were able to eliminate some faces by making the whole model one piece. That is a great concept. It sort of limits clothing options though, doesn't it? You'd have to use a different model to have the character wear different clothes.
I also wanted to say - that is some fantastic UV layout. But why only half of the body parts? Do you have one half of the body's UV's flipped, so that they can be placed over the other half's UV's on the map? That's also a great idea!
the edges on the knees just dont appear when its not selected...suppose to be those are connected...about the tris...ill export it to fbx and ill let Unity tri the model....btw...u know tutorial good for texturing?..i cant do textures well...T.T
What kind of texture do you want to do ? Paint texture is a good start... Paint texture is like simply painting less lighting. And you have a lot of tutorial painting. if you look for texture website I advise you this one : [link] pretty good bank with tiles.
